Have you had any experience with streetfairamerica.com? Any feedback from people about whether or not this site generates a lot of traffic? I hate to waste my time advertising and uploading photos of my work if it’s not worth the effort. Besides Ebay(which I already use), what other sites would you recommend for selling art?

I have just started making beaded jewelry and I would like to sell it. I don’t know how to even begin pricing the pieces. How would I price them if I sell them directly to customers as well as if I try to sell the pieces to a retail store?

For the past year I have been making handmade greeting cards. My friends and family have encouraged me to start selling them at local craft fairs. What all do I need to do from a leagl standpoint? Should I become a LLC? DO I have to report any income I earn if it is under a certain dollar amount every year? If i am just going to sell them to friends and family do I have to do anything at all?

Dear James,
I really hope you can help me. I am an American based in Kuwait. I recently hired an artist to draw 5 designs for greeting cards I designed and that have a Kuwait theme.
So, the cards are ready and have 1/4 packed and ready to sell.
But I am confused as to how to approach businesses. Basically, my husband has already contacted 6 businesses and dropped off a sample of the cards and a price list.
Is this a good method? What more can we do?? I really need advice. Thanks!
